Just wondering what you guys think about shortshifters in your 96-00 Civics? Any preference or do you think leave it stock? :happysad:

I'm using a Skunk2 double bend shifter. Very nice.

Yeah I did that when I first got my dc sports

I havent heard any real negatives with shortshifts.. except for the uber cheap ones breaking in half on a shift... and that was more of a wives tale

I think it made a nice differnence. I am so use to it now it does not make a difference. But when I drive another stick it feels really weird.

I have an ebay special double bend w/ Neuspeed Bushings. Love it...had it for 3 years. about a wrist throw f/ first to 2nd etc. Took a day or so to get used to the much shortened throw b/c i wasnt sure if i went far enough to get in gear. It was about 50-60% less throw.
