Does the shift knob sit any lower than stock?

A little but the double bend makes it sit like stock, whereas the single bend is angled towards your hand.

which short shifter lowers the actual knob as well as the throw. I see some of these other cars with shifters that sit very low. looks very sexy. let me know what barnds give the shorter look as well as a shortened throw.

All short shifters lower the knob and throw. That's the purpose of them.

Skunk2 is one of them. I think DC Sports and Neuspeed also have some.

Theres nothing bad about short shifters. That was the 1st mod i did to my car, And one of the best. as a matter of fact i cant stand driving manual without one!! I'm rockin wit the DC sports and the throws are nice and short :driving:

O BTW if you do get one fork out the extra $15-20 to get bushings!!
