Default Poject Del sol fix up

I recently baught RiceBurninVTECs del sol. 3 weeks later I noticed oil in the intercooler and piping. I took my car to InlinePro to replace the Turbo. The turbo is a GT 35/61 comes with the GT wheel with the T04E Compressor Cover, 3" inlet and 2" outlet and a 5-bolt discharge flange.

They called back today to tell me my Turbo manifold was warped and instead of paying $1200 on the manifold, downpipe and chargepipe. InlinePro said they would sell a New Turbo Kit for $3500 becuase of everything im getting done to the car. So my mom is letting me get the new turbo kit.

Thnx Mom

Buyer beware, that shop may not be 100% honest with you.

Oil in the IC and piping is nothing unusual. This does not signify a dying turbo. This is caused by oil blowing out of your crankcase breather(part of the PCV system), which is routed back through the intake.

Get yourself a catch can, and that won't be an issue. If it were a turbo issue(such as a blown seal), you would be burning oil and have lots of smoke coming out of your tailpipe.

Your AHEM "MOM" is letting you get the turbo kit? man, grow up, buy things for yourself. You just might learn something- like how easy it is to keep from getting ripped off from shops. I agree with suicidal. What a mommas boy.

The biggest reason he should not havea car like this.
HE has NO idea what he is doing and prob just bought it to be fast but has no idea how it works, esp if mommy is letting you get a new turbo.
Sounds like one of those sweet 16 bitches.
