What MTF to use?
110k miles, never changed it.....anyway, Weird noises etc, hoping it isnt an expensive oversight.... gonna change the fluid out, maybe its just low.....I've been seeing OEM is the choice, but what about in older tranny like mine? a synthetic maybe? The syncros seem to be louder than usual. What do you all think(and where to purchase for how much)?
To defend myself, all the work ive done, i'm kicking myself for not thinking of this. I was always under the impression if the clutch fluid was fine, you were good to go. My older cars had grease i thought, and Autos had fluid.....

I really hope this helps. I dont have the time to replace the tranny right now, nor do i have the cash to do the clutch / flywheel at the same time. I hate doing the same thing 2x tho
Honda MTF.
I used a 1:1 mixture of MTF and Pennzoil Synchromesh out of curiosity...didn't notice a difference. My transmission shifts fine before & after the change. I'm going back to 100% MTF next time though.
