Default a quick lesson in english.

just for those of you who aren't aware a tragedy is in a situation where the hero/heroine is actually in a plight against all odds and ultimately fails.

A very classic tragedy would be in which Oedipus, (sp?), tryed all his life not to kill his dad and boff his mom goes continuously out of his way to avoid any such situation but inevitably fate wills him towards such an end.

another one might be romeo and juliet, in which their trial to become partners against the odds of their families accpeting such a situation ultimately leads THEM to kill themselves.

street racing or suicide is generally not a tragedy.

now off to the basement i go.
