3000 for Filter, sometimes 9000 for the oil. 94.

lol. seriously 9k? damn.

I do 2500-3000, and during the summer 1800-2200.. try to stay around every 2k during the summer. heat+oil=breakdown

Um... no, oil can last a long time as a lubricant as long as it's clean.

You don't need to do it that often, it's a civic, it's not that high maintenance.

when you have a b16a and you rev it to 8k all the time, the oil gets hit harder than "just a civic" normally would.

i change every 2600-3000 for both oil and filter, ive been doing this ever since ive had a car and ive never had any problems. my father does the same thing with all his cars too and never had any related problems.

3000k for the filter and 10-15,000 for the oil. For a 2000 Honda Civic Si with about 75,000 miles. I use Amsoil or Royal Purple.

92 Civic, change both oil and filter every 3500 miles. Got 191k on my current engine so I do both very regularly. I use Royal Purple 5w-30 and Fram filters.
