Default Brightstar HID H4 hi/lo kit

Does anyone have any experience with this kit? I heard from some that once you convert to HID's, you lose your DRL. But an installer told me he could install the kit and still keep my DRL..

Not quite sure, but the hi/lo kit has some advantage over the regular H4 kits I hear.

Any feedback is appreciated

You will not retain DRL's with HID's.

you don't lose it. plus rebased HID Kits are ricey.. you are going to blind the F out of everybody, that's why the states and local officals are ticketing people "modifing" their headlights

how much that thing will cost you ? $300+ i rather do a retro.

Pick up projectors Valeo ECE/DOT E46 or even E55 for $180 tops unless you got some real money to spend go for TSX, TL, S2000 or EVO VII projectors they run $230 +

And pick up some OEM Projectors for $200 & work from there.
h4/9003 housing = worst housing ever for HIDs

if you dont believe him.. heres a perfect explanation why HIDs should be made illegal.

look at the glare output from aftermarket HIDs, compared with stock HIDs

I'm not sure about the laws in the states, but I'm from up here in Canada

and the kit that I found was considerably cheap, around 300 CAD.. so that's why I'm considering it

I don't want to do retrofitting, too much modifying and I'd like to sell the car sometime in the near future anyways.. so nothing too extreme.

Doesn't the glare depend on how u align the bulbs? if the bulbs are lower.. it won't blind everyone will it?

Thanks
