I'm New. How much would I be looking to spend for a 96-00 Civic?
Hey,
I'm new here and I am interested in buying a 96-00 Honda Civic. It has to be a 2dr and have a manual transmission. I'm looking for one in good mechanical shape as well as cosmetic shape. How much would I be looking at spending. I want to keep the milage at 130K or less. Would $3000 be suffiicent? Any help would be apprecaited.
By the way, I also would appreciate any tips you have. Thanks.

No.........you'll probably have to spend atleast 4k.........My 96 Civic EX has good paint, 101k miles.........manual transmission.........and its blue booked at about 5k........i wouldn't sell it for less than 4200 i don't think either..........
blue book usually pads their prices for dealer markup, and other crap.
NADA is usually the better pricing guide. Expect something in the $4500-$5500 range.
