del Sol door panel problem
My outside door handle won't open the door on the passenger side. I would like to get in and replace it, but I can't figure out how to get the door panel off. I have a '93 del Sol Si. I have removed every screw and plastic pin that I could find, took the interior door handle off and I still can't budge the panel. What am I missing? Do I need a special tool?
Any replies would be greatly apreciated as my spare time runs out with the new year.

Yeah, just do a really good search; there are a few little screws that are hard to find.
Once you are sure you have them all out, just slowly pry it away and pull. Once you start, it comes off pretty easy.

to get door panel off, just remove the inner handle with the single bolt, then it slides to the front of the car then pulls out. Then remove the screw behind the inner door grip. then there should be one more screw on the upper front end that you can only see when the door is open. Then with a flat screwdriver just pry the bottom half off. then the panel should raise straight up and towards the back of the car once the bottom end is pulled a little away from the door. Is that clear enough? I'd send pics, but my car is not around me right now.

Top left side has all the info you should need on how to get the door panels off. I know that with out the hemls pages I had a really hard time trying to figure out how to get the panels off.
