The higher the better honestly..........with jackstands........it can be difficult to get enough leverage behind tough welded in bolts.........on a lift its much easier to work with.

as high as you can get it really WITH JACKSTANDS.

As xsentrix said, the exhaust flanges/bolts can be a real PITA without propper leverage.. cheaterbar, whatever.

Or borrow someones lift..

You could go with my favorite method... buy new ones, and break all the old ones.

LOL

Yeah that method is good I think they actually recommend in the exhaust instructions that u buy new ones anyways.

Usually if you spray a little WD40 on it it won't be too difficult......

I actually just jacked up the passenger side and stuck jackstands underneath both jack points. It was a pain to get some of those bolts loose so I recommend WD-40 or the like all the bolts and hangers. Also let it soak about 10 minutes. Does make things alot easier.

Also get yourself a flex socket adapter: http://www.sears.com/sr/javasr/searc...s+%26+Ratchets

It will help to get to the cat bolts.
