Default Compression question

i have a b18c (si-g) motor in my eg and i wanted to know if the higher Compression the more hp it will put out... also how safe is it to run 12.0:1??

Absolutely, the higher the compression the more power it will make. 12:1 should be fine on 93 or higher octane, if you tune the timing right. Octane is knock preventer, so the higher the octane, the higher compression/more timing you can run. On race gas, people commonly run 13:1 and up.

will going from 10.8:1 to 12:1 make all that more power though?

yes espaiclly if you have everything else like bigger cams ported head free flow exaust and tunning tunning tunning

how exactly do you "tune" your motor after your done.

i have ctr cams in it right now

Hondata/Uberdata/AEM EMS or something + wideband + dyno time.

you might wanna run someting better then pump 93. myabe go 50/50 with sometyhing higher. at Nelson Ledges raceway cars with compression anywhere around that usually run 50/50 with 91 and 109, you might have a rougher idle as well, and tuning is your best friend.
my opinion, all motor is gay, go turbo. more power, more reliable

12.0:1 is too high for street use, IMHO. That's at the limits of street gas.
