rear disc break conversion on 95 civic dx
does any one know anything about having to change the master cylinder in doing a rear disc break conversion? i already have the perportion valve and the rear disc breaks but i heard that the master cylinder had to be changed also? does anyone know?

it's not needed.. but it will improve braking power. You can get a master cylinder from a non abs RS integra and that bolts up, or some like 91 civics, I forgot which models.

im runnin the same setup with my gsr brakes all around. works great for me.

Same here, haven't driven a swapped one without the MC upgraded. But people that have driven their cars both ways usually say it make a big difference with the larger MC.

i have a95 dx civic with rear disc conversion. i called up the honda dealer and talked to them. they told me it is not needed at all to do a MC change. It uses the same one, he told me the only thing needed was the rear brake set up and thats it. anything else id be wasting my money. i put them in they work great. he said it depended on alot of different things, if you just call them up and give them all the model specs and such. they will tell you what needed.
