it's not needed.. but it will improve braking power. You can get a master cylinder from a non abs RS integra and that bolts up, or some like 91 civics, I forgot which models.

91 civic EX SEDAN ...it will be a 15/16 MC that will bolt up to the non abs booster.

I have a 15/16" master cylinder from an integra RS. you will need an integra non-abs booster and it will bolt right in to your car. pm me if you are interested.

Same here, haven't driven a swapped one without the MC upgraded. But people that have driven their cars both ways usually say it make a big difference with the larger MC.

I've driven it a few ways, I'll just go on and say that driving without upgrading the MC felt really silly, because the pedal needs to be depressed alot more than you should have to.

i have a95 dx civic with rear disc conversion. i called up the honda dealer and talked to them. they told me it is not needed at all to do a MC change. It uses the same one, he told me the only thing needed was the rear brake set up and thats it. anything else id be wasting my money. i put them in they work great. he said it depended on alot of different things, if you just call them up and give them all the model specs and such. they will tell you what needed.
