Out with the old... In with the new
well, I have been wanting to replace my rear Suspension Techniques 19mm sway bar for a 22mm ITR sway bar, and I finally saw a good deal on a ITR rear sway bar with gsr lcas and the beaks kit too for only $150 bucks.
Installation was pretty straight forward. At the same time, I installed some Energy Suspension bushings on the rear gsr lcas, which have been in my closet for almost 2 years.
Here are the pics:
Sway Bar installation
Afterwards, I took it out for a test driive. All I can say is that I am extremely happy with the outcome. I can easily take the off ramps from my freeway at 45+ mph. The car feels more nuetral now. Now I am deciding if I should upgrade the front sway bar too.
Oh btw, I also wanted to show you guys my painted calipers that I painted black. Didn't want it to be really noticeable, and I couldn't stand the way it use to look, very dirty.

Becareful though and watch your air pressures. If your rear pressures change more than 4-5psi up or down you are going to get some nice snap oversteer and that's not fun on an offramp.

how big of a pain in the ass was putting the bushings in, i have hadthe front set of bushing in my closet for about six months and dont really have the time to do them. Btw what exactly does the beaks thingie do.
mounts and holds the type R bar in such a way that it keeps it from ripping off under extreme loads.
and fuji... the offramps in your pic look waaay different than cali ones, cali ones do complete circles going down.
