Actually, all three RX-7 bodies were designed like that. Little known fact though.

I know the Japanese get a kick out of North American G2 Integra three peice glass/plastic headlights, just like how we buy up so many of their one peice full plastic ones.

When I went to japan In the car shops you could find US badges such as Acura, Lexus, and Infinity badges. All of which dont exist outside of the united stated. Everywhere elsejust uses Honda, Toyota, and Nissan. I wouldnt be supprised to see Scion badges out there too. For instance the scion xb here is called the toyota bb in japan.

Other than that i dont know. They do import some USDM vehicles that they dont have there. Mustangs, Camaros, Corvettes and the like. But when gas costs 3.00 a Litre (not gallon) you see alot of them parked and marked for sale.

In particular, the datsun 240z is considered a classic in japan, and they pay a shitload of cash for a stock or restored 240z from the US. It's like our 57 vette is to us

Ok now I get why (on the Japanese drift videos I've seen) the Japanese guys quite often say that it would make the sport more intersting if we Americans would incorporate our Muscle cars into what we do here, as far as drifting goes.
Like that one guy that drives a Viper....
I guess before now I thought of it as a Japan vs. USA thing, but it doesn't have to be like that all the way right. I mean for the sport yeah it's cool to have teams like that or whatever....
I can't think of a good way to end this post...

Interesting. in the uk though they dont lust after the civic at all compared to here and america, a 93 or 94 civic vti(eg9 uk versio of jdm eg9) can be picked up very reasonable maybe equivilant to 1200 usd, I read somewhere that you guys would have to pay that for the SiR/VTi interior alone!!!!

Lol.
Actually Civic's can be had for a decent price... depending on the year and trim. They're a dime a dozen almost (we have more Civic's here than Mustangs I think )
But I see what you mean.
I'm not sure that a lot of us would drive Civic's if we could afford S2000's or even Preludes.
