i hate the cover blocking my rear speakers. (98 civic ex) its a hard plastic. I cant turn music up w/o hearing it shake . ne solutions that are not expensive.

 

Get rid of it.

 

find out where its rattling and stuff an old sock in between where its rattling at..thats about as cheap as it gets

my friend had this problem in his 00 civic as well, solution, pull it off and dynamat it. problem solve, music sounds more positive now, less rattle distortion.

 

I took the back speakers out.

rear stage is over-rated. you just need a good set of front speakers, and a sub

 

i have good rear and front speakers. i just want to find a way how to remove the cover b/c the speakers came with nice covers that cant be put on b/c of the ghey plastic thing


the sock solution sounds good, its ghetto but it'll work lol

 

u just dont know how ghetto fab i am...the taillights in my 94 cavalier rattled like crazy so i cut carpet pad to the shape of it then stuffed an old sheet in there with it so it was |taillights||old sheet||carpetpad||trunklid|....stopped the rattleing an you could never tell unless you took off the tail lights

what can i say...cant complain with free...it serves its purpose...although im in the process of buying her a aemv2...that yellow accord short ram is getting old to look at everytime i open the hood...that and because i now have a teg to work on she might get suspicious if i start throwing nice things on mine meanwhile she has crap on hers
