I ended up putting some 6x9s in the back, so I just took off the rear deck completely. makes me look like a 2nr with teh stripped interior :reechy:

i also have a 98 civic EX... once i put the sub in i had the same problem..

your rear speakers dont do shit once u got the sub, it just add small amount of bass.
they are not required.

unplug them and play... see if u notice a difference.

I didnt
depends on the setup.

I'm running 5.1, so if I didn't have my rears, I'd be missing out on alot.

but normally, I'd agree with you. I didn't have a rear stage for the longest time.... but then I got a HU thats worth a damn :reechy:

If they are on an amp you could try running them at more of a mid-range(or high) setting. You don't need bass out of them.
