Default *to those of you who have fixed your rattling short shifter*

what did you do in order to make your shifter from rattling? i have no idea where my rattling is coming from so maybe from some of your suggestions, one of them will work with my situation! thanks

Change the shifter bushings, that's what I did and I'm rattle free.

Bought a skunk2. h:

My B&M rattled no matter what I did and I did everything that everyone suggested and more. It's usually the cheaper ones that rattle, from my experience. My skunk2 dual bend is the shizzle as it is. :yes:

Was that just a B&M lever with stock mount, or did you have the aluminum mount with the spherical bushing?

I tried the rubber washer trick, I tried to lube it up like crazy, I tried tightening it up like crazy, I tried loosening it up, I had urithane bushings... nothing I did would stop it from rattling.

The B&M rep actually started posting out here too and we all told him about the rattle. I don't know if he actually went back and tried to have the problem fixed with the latest releases though. They are now offing a dual bend for the same price as the one posted above. I don't have any experience with that one.

soft nylon washers actually worked for me and the b&m
but shortly after I sold it for a skunk2 dual bend
