We'll I've got all my wiring done, and the engine is going in tomorrow. I'll update with pics and a vid of course. It's gonna be fun as shit. Tomorrow is like christmas for me lol.

It is non-lsd, and the waiting list for lsd from HMO is like 7 or 8 right now, so i didn't have time to wait. Dunno actual miles but it's clean as hell. My bud sage knows steve personally so I think that steve made sure i got a good swap. I have a question for you guys, can I use the radiator hoses that are on it or will they not work?

get new ones, it like 20 bucks for a peice of mind, and nothing would piss you off more than if you got it all done just to have to drain the coolant to change hoses cause there is a pinhole leak. I replaced every hose on my motor when I got it with brand spanken new hose. Grand total was like 40 bucksish

That's too bad the LSD is really nice with that motor, I can't imagine mine with an open diff. You get past the apex and put your foot to the floor and it just doesn't run out of traction, so cool.

Oh yeah and I forgot to mention my clutch is bad too on a motor with 32,000 miles. Beat much?

I've ran into a few setbacks, as expected. My crank pulley has a small chunk missing out of the very end of it. I'm not sure if I can still use it, but I think one of my friends has another one that I will use. I think that the small chunk of metal missing could throw off the balance, is this correct?

another issue, my hatch needs new wheel bearings I already got the bearings, but need a press to change them out, therefore have to wait til monday.

One last thing, do I need to get a different throttle cable to do my swap? Mine doesn't seem to match up.

thanks in advance

ok cool thanks for the info ms. leia

another issue I have, I need a bitch pin (shift linkage to tranny pin). can you buy those at the honda dealership?

My swap didn't come with one, and since I bought my hatch motorless I don't have a spare. I'm thinking it'll be another week til I round up all my other parts for the swap. Little things take time, but at least nothing serious has gone wrong. It's a good thing anyway because it forces me to take my time and not rush.

Yeah u can get the roll pin at the dealer. Or u can check Lowes or Home depot to see if they got one the right size. Its like 5 or 6 bucks from the dealer and its SOP
