i got it when i got my head ported--all a camgear does (from what i understand) is allow for more adjustability/tuning. my 60ft times? my room is a mess, but from what i remember, its in the low 2's (~2.2-2.3?).. and that was on stock tires (w/bad camber) and poor launching (no tach). i have yet to run with the current wheel/tire setup/tach setup.

down here its $75 for 3 runs but i dont even think that includes the tuning...

yeah i know...i lost my slips also..i have a bad camber in the front also and when i ran it, i had my blown shocks in the back(still do just lazy and havent put the new ones on yet). best was a 2.4 and my second run i launched to high and i hit a 2.5

99-00 si's, i pull on them hard (1.5-3car lengths) up to about 50, and then they start pulling on me.. and we basically finish the 1/4 about the same... basically, i can take them on the street (shorter), but its much closer on the track.

typically hourly, and i think theres only one dyno in the immediate area. how long did it take to get the results you needed?
when youre adjusting a cam gear, (i havent actually played with one), what exactly are you adjusting on the gear itself?

yeah its pretty much even off the line against my car but i pull hard in second but in mid 3rd gear i get taken hard...but like you said street racing is shorter, but my numbers from the track where pretty much the same as b16s..that one night i saw b16s running from a 15.6-16.4 but those only had basic bolt ons also.

The cam gear physically changes when your valves open and close in relation to the crank. If you're DOHC, you can create or eliminate valve overlap. Or if you suck, you could advance it too far and have a piston come up and kiss your valvetrain goodbye. But if you mill a head, you lose timing because the piston comes up sooner and the belt is shorter. So you have to advance the cam back to oe or better. I have mine 2 degrees advanced on intake and 2 retarded on exhaust.
