Is your A/c system charged?

sounds like a switch problem to me or a wiring problem. Have you done anything to the climate control recently? Does the AC light come on, and off when pressed? Actually nm, here is the Helms troubleshooting steps for the AC Condenser Fan.

The CLICK you're hearing is the compressor cutting on and off. The car is shuddering because it's under load while the compressor is on. Your AC is working if the compressor is coming on. When the fan is running and you turn the AC on, what happens? Does the fan turn off?
