Default new stance

hfawk:

not the best pic in the world (dirty car :a: ), but there it is.... the drop is about 2.25"

too bad my camber is shot to hell h: the rears are like -2.1 and -2.6

will the washer trick do any good for the rear camber? Or should I just get front and rear camber kits? Also, what are some suggestions? The shop I get alignments and stuff done at can get the ingalls kits, but they quoted me about $1300 for front and rear control arms, and front ball joints, plus install and the alignment. I don't like that price

the rear washer trick will work fine. It does the same thing, and I corrected mine that way. Got it to -.7 and -.8 which is were I wanted it to be. as for the fronts, I would suggest some omnipower UCA's, and 1320 to install and align is outragous. I'd do it for 250 if you lived around here

how low of a drop are you? and how many washers did you use? (and what type, too)

but yeah, most of that $1300 was the front and rear control arms and the ball joints ($700, ingalls). $400 for install, and $100 for mis shop crap, plus the alignment ($80)

you can purchase the omni power, skunk2, ingalls, for less than 2 hundred for the front. And intall on them is very easy (at least the control arm one is). I even think omni has specials for front and rear for a pretty cheap price like $250 or so, I remember seeing it awhile back not sure if they still do. But you can probably get away with washers in the back since those tires don't turn, they won;t wear out that fast.

I think I used 2 washers on one side, and 3 on the other, which really means 4 bolts and 10 washers total. I'm was using ground controls with stock rates, dropped probably 2" but I'm not sure, might be a tiny bit more.

yeah, I was looking into that rear camber washer trick... I found this

I want the longer bolts anyways.... is that size correct? (m10 thread 1.25)

I've heard 1/32 washers is the correct size?

I still haven't even looked at front kits yet....

The stance looks great! :goodjob:

It almost detracts from the fact that you have to paint the rest of your car. hfawk:

Looks good! Nice and even from front to back, how's the ride? About that shop you mentioned - it's not that import place down Bandera outside the loop, is it?
