Default Throttle problems, please help

For the past week my car is feeling like its bogging down when the throttle is not accelerating anymore but not decelerating, right in the middle it starts to bog and I have to give it more gas for it to stop, but when I'm done accelerating, it happens all over agian. I was thinking dirty injectors, but i'm leaning towards no because the cleaner i put in yesterday isnt helping. I'm thinking TPS sensor, vacume hose, plug wires. I cant figure it out. Please help! Its a 1997 Ex with 97k on it. Help!

have you thought about the fuel filter? I could see that being the problem. I would suggest picking up a cheap one just to test the theory. Better to pay a little and be wrong than pay a lot and be wrong.

Hope it helps.

Couple things you can do. Clean out your EACV with intake cleaner. Check your tb to make sure the spring is letter the plate move properly. Then check over all your hoses.

the fuel filter is on the firewall like on 4th gens, right? its up high enough where all you do is discon the hoses and then raise the hoses up a little higher, just prop them up and they wont spill gas, (gravity helps us here as long as the pump is off).

i would also try the pcv valve and check your brakes and emergency brake too. you have cleaned the air filter as well?

btw, if a vacuum is busted you will hear hissing, you can take a straw and put it in your ear, or a piece of rubber hose and run it around the engine and hear a high pitched SSSSSSSSssss

how did you place? my dad took 3rd today in his class, (compact Mild)

just for ****s and grins check the tension on the throttle cable too, maybe its slack.
