well, im guessing his **** is straight through, but they dont actually get clogged so much as the honeycomb falls apart and breaks down. can cause the machine to bog and then start to miss.

carbon depo? hes got a hyundai anyway right? it was proly clogged with parts of the engine.

im thinking that a clogged cat is symptoms of a greater problem though. anyway, well see how it goes.

oh, btw joel, the humidity around here lately has had me VERY doggy, i thought at first my clutch was slipping, but i examined my RPMs very carefully, and they seem ok...so now thats itscooleddown myperformance is better, and im abandoning that idea.

Like Blake said, replace the pcv valve. It's like 2 bucks. To check it, just pull it out, and shake. If it rattles, it's good. If it doesn't, or it sounds sticky but still rattles, replace it.

there's a hose coming out of the intake manifold that goes through the manifold, and under the manifold... that's where it is.

have you done a tune up lately? including the spark plugs and wires? cap and rotor?
