whats with all the noobs having trouble installing intakes

Yeah, unless my mech friend that works at mazda is wrong (which he very well could be), it uses a MAF. Maybe he just means the only electrical component that goes to the intake

You will be left with a hole on the intake that you don't use assuming you're installing this on a 96-00 Civic...probably an EX/Si...just put a hose to it and clamp it off so you won't get any vacuum leaks, or if it comes witha plug, plug it off. Don't run with an open hole.

should of kept your stock one it proballys looks better than that one IMO

the kit comes with a plug for the same hole that i have the problem with. i was thinking about buying a small hose so that i can connect it.

hehehe, yeah, guys don't buy those cheap air intakes, those are the intakes you always see in ebay for $5... I found these pics, if you need help, just PM me I'll help you with the installation... it's really easy

Drill out the hole, and use a gasket to get eh IAT sensor to sit in their right.
