i replaced my d16z6 and it won't rev over 3 grand

Check your (check engine) light, does it light up when you turn the key to start the motor? It could be burned out... Also the timing needs to be checked, dont asume it is correct, its not hard to do... Wallmart sells a POS plastic light for 12.00, and if you never use it again you can take it back and tell them you want to return it after you use it... lol...

Check Timing first, set it to the correct setting if it is incorrect, disconnect your battery for 10-15 min, start your car and dont touch the throttle for about 5 min. This will reset your ECU and it will get the new info from the timing change.

Post the results after you have done that...
