Default 99 civic dx best parts

hey i just deciced to upgrade my 99 civic dx. i have already bought a mugen cold air intake and a apexi n1 muffler from ebay. I was wondering if these parts would be sufficient to notice any amount of power gain. also i was wondering if you could tell me what kind of parts i could get under a small budget ( i work 3 days a week :P ) that would enhance the performance of my car. without spending thousands of dollars

you wont feel much of a difference, but you'll get slightly better gas milage. most bolt ons wont give you a significant performance boost, expecially on the dx motor with a low budget. save the money on getting an engine swap or turbo. there have been a lot of success with a turboed D-series motor. check out www.turboD16.com
