Default Torque mods

Hey I was just wondering if there were any bolt on mods made just for increasing torque? I know a CAI, header, etc. will add torque, but those increase your horsepower more then your torque. Thanks for any replies.

to build torque you have to build up your bottom end, pistons, crank shaft etc...

Every power modification is made for increasing torque.

Horsepower is function of torque, so if you up the torque, horsepower is raised with it.

A turbo or supercharger kit will boost your torque output in a hurry.

Actually the research I've done:

cold air intake (AEM type) resonance helps with high rpm power, but kills lower end power. Also a free flowing exhaust like an N1 exhaust does the same thing. As well as 4-1 header.

a short intake and my new A'PEXi WS helps with low end power as well as 4-2-1 header.

hp=(tq X rpm)/5252
end of story. Most bolt ons just shift the power band.
Build the block, go higher compression, or boost it... Otherwise you're making minimal gains for a chunk of money.
Figure you can spend 300-400 on a nice header, and over 100 for a nice intake. Right there, you're half way to a turbo setup... I love watching people buy all these bolt ons, sell them for half what they spent, and then go turbo. Save, do it right the first time, and be happy!
