Hey guys, does anyone know if the 92-95 civic ex d16z6 valve cover (the one thats says "VTEC" on it) fits into my 00 civic ex d16y8. I also think the del sol d16z6 have that valve cover too, but not sure.

the valve cover is off of an ex 5gen the Sis dont have vtec on it...

 

um.. yes it does.

I have a 94 civic ex and it reads "vtec" not "vtech"[:fawk:], the valve cover will fit your 6th gen civic and the best place to find one is by searching local junk yards or internet junk yards. Im sure if you find a used one all it will need is a little wire brushing/sanding, but will save you some money from buying a new one.

94-95's have VTEC on them 92-93's don't have it.

 

yea.. 94-95 civic ex/si and del sol si have the vtec valve cover.. i found one and put it on my 96.
