Default Intake Manifold replacement?

Does it do any good to replace the intake manifold (the part that the intake tubing connects to) with a "high flow" one? I know this may seem dumb, but I am looking for a little extra umpf out of my D-series engine and am in no way looking to swap within at least 3 years.

Also, what about throttle body spacers?

I felt mine quite abit..

I got the AEBS one, I didnt feel much added power at first , but after about 4000 rpm it's actually quite noticable.

and relatively cheap too, install was a bitch though, because the guy at honda had no idea what he was talking about

i think that statement really depends on how much he would get his for. i have personally done this on my friends DX and it made a big difference on his car. the y8 intake mani only costed him 30 bux. he said it gave him 2-4mph average more on the 1320. after the swap it felt like it pulled harder in 1st than his brothers SI. weird.

The only effort you should put into a d series is taking it out. :fawk:
:chuckles:

I agree, won't make a difference.

interesting how the people who have tried it say it helps, and the people who are going by theory are bashing it.
