Does it do any good to replace the intake manifold (the part that the intake tubing connects to) with a "high flow" one? I know this may seem dumb, but I am looking for a little extra umpf out of my D-series engine and am in no way looking to swap within at least 3 years.

Also, what about throttle body spacers?
