auto ECU to manual ECU
hello all!! i was reading a link provided by relic1 about converting an auto ecu to a manual ecu. I know that you have to cut out resistor RP17 and install a jumper across RP18 in order for the cel code 19 not to show up(for OBD-1 ECU's). http://www.hondaswap.com/~pills/autotomanual.html, here is the website provided by relic1 courtesy of hondata.com
My question is what is a jumper considered and how would you install it?

a jumper would be either a lead from a resistor or a tiny piece of wire. Basically something with no resistance.
IMO it would be easier to pick up a 3.3k ohm resistor, cut the legs short and put each leg of it on the existing 2.4k ohm resistor and you're done. I've done that to a few JDM ECUs and it works perfectly.
