This thing gets awesome gas mileage, in fact the gauge reads full permanantly. Any ideas?? I checked the sending unit, it appeared fine, no chaffed wires or broke connections. The gauge just doesnt want to drop, even the with ignition off. Any help would be appreciated.
me too i got that problem..
now i have my car for almost 5 years..
civic si/ex 96 with b18c 00

last year my needle was working perfectly..
and i was running smootlhy with my girlfriend when i went into a
big hole .. i jump a bit .. enough to make the subwoofer jump in the trunk
since then, my needle is showing me FULL ... but a LITTLE bit than full..
when its a bit cold.... my needle is giving me the GOOD reading
but after 5-10 min the needle is going up to the full !! lol

there a chance my gas light is working good

No fuel gauge is 100% acurate. Mine is only acurate if it's full or empty. Learn to tell how much gas you have by miles. And my fuel gauge stays in one place when the car is off too, always has.
