i wouldnt think so. the car is still new...and there is a catylitic convertor on the exhaust manifold. if there was a kit...it would be custom. i wouldnt think any brand name company would make a readily availible turbo kit to the public and rid the cat. convertor.

Unless your friend wants to void his warranty, I'd seriously think twice about making such a mod/addition to the car. I too have an '04 Civic LX and was contemplating making a few changes to the engine and suspenssion. Suffice it to say I'm happy I called Honda and my dealership and they both confirmed such changes would void the wrranty. At this point, with the car being as new as it is, I wouldn't make any major changes. He may never use his warranty, but it's a heck of a nice safety blanket to have.

lets just say i heard this story... of this guy with a vsm 98 ex and he blew the tranny up on nitrous... and well returned everything back to stock brought it to the dealer and they hooked it up... i would not overly worry about the warranty as there are ways around everything... (so ive heard)

You mean the guy in the story, right? Well, "the guy" would probably be ok, as long as he remembered to take the bottle out of his trunk

True... but the major hassle would be having to undo anything that voids the warranty before you take it in for service. Although I do realize most people don't use Honda for their car's maintenance/service, I personally think it would be a pain in the butt to go through should you feel the need to use the warranty you've pretty much paid for.

the reward of having modded suspension is worth the hassle of MAYBE needing to take it out..
