The trunk light in my 00 si won't light whenever the trunk lid is open. I checked the bulb and its fine. Also the the trunk-lid indicator in the dash won't light up whenever the trunk is open. I will try to fix it this weekend and just wondering if anyone would like to suggest on where I should check, like fuse box, wirings, etc. Thanks for the help in advance.

By the way, this started happening after someone tried to force open my trunk trying to steal my sub, I guess. How do I know, because the next day I checked my car, the metal piece that the lid locks onto is bent upwards and the trunk wouldn't shut tight all the way when closed. Anyways, I straighten it back and is now fine but the problems I mentioned.
