help...trunk light not working
 

The trunk light in my 00 si won't light whenever the trunk lid is open. I checked the bulb and its fine. Also the the trunk-lid indicator in the dash won't light up whenever the trunk is open. I will try to fix it this weekend and just wondering if anyone would like to suggest on where I should check, like fuse box, wirings, etc. Thanks for the help in advance.

By the way, this started happening after someone tried to force open my trunk :eek: trying to steal my sub, I guess. How do I know, because the next day I checked my car, the metal piece that the lid locks onto is bent upwards and the trunk wouldn't shut tight all the way when closed. Anyways, I straighten it back and is now fine but the problems I mentioned.
