Cleaning up the engine bay
I've heard of many people who "clean" up their engine bays. By cleaning I mean re-routing wires so that they are hidden, making all hoses and clamps the same color, and paintings parts under the hood (ie. Radiotor coolant box, caps to things like washer fluid, radiator box thingy, valve cover, etc.) and I was wondering if anyone has done this or if someone can find a write-up or DIY on this for me. I've got a 98 civic. Thanks guys.
Hose techniques sells some nice colored hose kits for Civics, around $199... check it out at www.hosetechniques.com

don't do color. for the sake of ur car.
as far as hiding ur wires go, i have never heard of anyone wanting to do that in the 5 years i've been tuning cars. if u want to color stuff yourself, the best and most popular thing to do is to sand ur stuff down to the nitty gritty, prime it, and spray it with high temperature enamel spray paint.
but once again, don't do it
