seeing that it was all the first try peices, you may notice an extra hole in a plate or a plate a lil too wide.. all things that could be fixed or corrected if done a second time. but i'm glad to say that i didn't waste a single peice of metal

this sat if all holds well, i'll take out all the peices and paint everything gloss black, help it all blend in. but you actually don't even see any of the plates when the seats are moved back to a normal sitting position, the seat actually covers them. the only ones you see are the rear when you slide the seat all the way forward

another thing to note: i had to swap on my seat belt clicker things onto the seats. the stock ones would not accept the seatbelts. but this was good cuz then i was able to plug in the seat belt sensor without having to do any wire splicing or anything

its still raining outside so i couldn't really get good shots. if you guys can think of some good angles for when it clears up let me know

If I where you just to clean up the job I would mark the seats with a marker and shave them up. Not that you have to just will clean up the job a bit and will not look so ghetto. (don't feel bad I Ghetto a whole lot of shit all the time). Other then that shit you did a great job man. The seats are straight as hell from what I can see.

wow. i'm not feeling that bracket one bit.

if that setup gets loose in an accident. you'll be in a worse position than ever.

i put s2k seats in my civic, i swapped over EVERYTHING

literally took the seats apart and used all civic hardware. luckily it all swapped over.

no modifications. bolted right up.

if i were you. i'd take apart the passenger side civic seat and the rsx seat, and try to swap over all the civic hardware to the rsx seat.

that bracket just doesn't look safe.

^^ any other suggestions? i REALLY do not want to take apart the seats
i think the next step would be just to weld my fabricated parts onto the seat assembly.

I'd have to agree, the manufacturer designs the seats to bolt to the chassis of the car a certain way for a reason.... if you connect them with haphazard brackets, that might threaten the safety of the seats.

Welding may do the job..... but honestly, you may really want to take them apart, as bumnah suggested.
