You really need to have the valve cover recirculating to the preTurbo intake pipe rather than just venting. Doing it with just a filter screws up the vacuum system... FYI.

it's debatable, but if u ever have oil passing your rings and going throgh the hose into your "intake" to the turbo... the oils could very well clog up the fins on the turbine.

its always best to run a catch can there also , in conjuncton with one for the pcv system

Well, the tech at Total Seal said that it can cause blow-by. h:

Can you run multiple inputs and outputs on a catch can?

That's a boost leak, the exact opposite of creep. A boost controller can help, but your wastegate is sounding kinda weak to me. What brand/model are you using?

ehhh... think about it though. If you have one line going from the PCV to the intake you're creating a vacuum from the intake. If you have another line from the valve cover to the intake pipe that's not creating the same vacuum (I don't think) so I don't think it would work correctly. Not sure though.... :happysad:

It's the stock Greddy 15g wastegate. I had to have it totally rebuilt (read: new center cartridge). Who knows what abuse the wastegate had to it...

BTW, I still read ~20 psi of vacuum at idle... even with that little filter. And I don't see how connecting the valve cover to a pipe under slight vacuum would help the vacuum system... then again, I'm a n00b to this...
