i think i saw a ZC powered awd civic. it was red, the guy posted videos of it doin donuts in the snow or somehting.

Pre-92 is down one more.


Anyway, you can only use another D-series engine to easily keep the AWD drivetrain. The blacktop ZC is a favorite for this reason. Don't expect the drivetrain to hold up to much more power then that, the rear differential will probably let go.

some big magazine did a couple of articles on a wagon build up. I can't remember which one.... but it might have been Honda Tuning, or Import racer. Hard to say. But it was an ongoing thing. So they might have been on to some good stuff.

I plan on having the drive shaft replaced with custom one that are rated for higher horse power, like some where in the 400hp range.

I doubt the driveshaft is the weakest link in this case.

I'm betting that tranny is not designed for anything even close to 200hp.

I am also going to have the trany modified some, mainly new gearing and clutch.

Honestly, for the money it would cost to make it work reliably (and have 200HP) you could just buy a WRX.

It's your money though.
