Default question about a rear disk swap

i have the oppurtunity of getting my hands on a JDM Rear-end Suspension/Disc Brake Conversion Set pulled from a 4-Door 1991 Honda Civic Ferio SiR with an EG9 chassis.

i need to know if that will be a bolt on swap to my 97 civic dx (ej6)

thanks everyone

Luke

What are the identifying marks on the Si prop valve? I have one from a '99-'00 but I don't know what model it's from...

It should have 4040 stamped on it somewhere.

It controls the amount of pressure going to the front and back brakes. 4040 gives equal pressure to front and back. A stock Ex DX, etc divides 80% to the front, and 20% to the back.

Yes, you'll need some from a 94-01 Teg, 92-95 Civic SI/4dr with rear disc, or lastly from a 99-00 SI.

You don't have to have a 4040 prop valve, but you won't really see an improvement without it. Balanced braking is > front end nose dive.
