1991 EG9? Is that fifth gen, or a fourth gen?
WestCoast, the 6th gen Prop Valves don't have 4040 stamped on them. I have two here, if you wanna compare numbers.

hehe, which Si ???

the 4040 stamp is a 60/40 front bias. Drum setups are a 80/20 front bias.

I think that's where your number comes from.

6th gen civics, the prop valves aren't stamped with 4040, even if it is an Si.
From what I understand.

I think the 99-00 civic si prop valves are the same as the 96-00 civic hatches prop valve. The coupe and the sedens are the ones that are different from the SI

the problem was probably poorly bled brakes. i had the stock prop valve in, then switched to a 30/40 (4 wheel disc, non-abs). it didnt make any diff in pedal travel.
