hmm if u dont upgrade the prop valve, the pedal engagement would be later then it would. trust me, get the prop, my friend ran a rear disc on his 97 ex without a prop valve and his brake pedal was sloppy until he slap a 99si 40/40 on it, made one hell of a difference.

You don't have to have a 4040 prop valve, but you won't really see an improvement without it. Balanced braking is > front end nose dive.

The most important piece that hasn't been mentioned is the MC... you'd want to upgrade that as well... a 15/16.

:werd: just get the 99-00 si mc, direct bolt on and no u do not need to change the booster out cuz the booster is the same. i know this from first hand experience. my friend is currently runnin full teg brakes all round on his 00 civic dx with 99si prop and mc.

just spray those drums bling bling style!

that reminds me, my roommates had this hilarious suggestion... that i should get a piece of wood or something and attach it to the side of the drum and paint it to make it look like a caliper, then spray the drum bling bling, and who needs rear disks???

i think hi-temp should work fine too. i'm gonna use it to paint my calipers tho. and my rear drums that i have now. when i get the rear disk swap i'll paint those calipers to match.

i'm looking for like a charcoal, metallic graphite kind of color
