Default Running Rich

My car when i floor it, it puffs out deep black smoke, i read it somewhere that it means your car is running way too rich, how do i fix that?

Call up your local autozone and see if they will do an ECU scan on your car.

if you don't have an aftermarket fuel system then you probly have somethin wrong with u'r car! if you did have an adjustable fuel pressure regulator then i'd say turn the pressure down a lil bit.. get car scaned & see what they tell ya.. when was the last time you had a tune-up?

i did a tune up not too long ago, my car is all aftermarket i did myself. u think it could be my o2? my car is a obd 1 the only codes i get is for a tps. but that shouldnt make me run rich. i just took my bosch +4's out and put ngk's in. new mobile one oil. distributer and rotor and fine. wires are relitivly new.

you have a code for TPS currently?
from what I know about honda ECUs that would put it into limp home mode and run the car really rich and retard the timing.
