Default Headlight adjustments?

I've done a bit of searching, but I can't figure out how do adjust the headlights on my 5th gen... all I see is a couple ~8mm nuts, which ones adjust? I know to line up with a wall to check the alignment, but how high off the ground should the main beam pattern be?

Note: stock headlights, projectors in avatar are gone.

im not too sure...but i know you can apply this method to fog lights. You measure how far the lights are from the ground. *EX. The lights are 3 1/2' off the ground* then you move the car in front of a wall err...i think it was like 25 feet from the wall, oh yes it has to be flat ground. Afterwards you turn the lights on and then you measure how far the beams are from the ground. It should be the same height as the lights itself. *I said if the lights were 3 1/2 from the ground therefore the beams should also be 3 1/2 from the ground.

I just read this somewhere and i havent actually applied this. I parked in front of a wall and just adjusted the lights till it was looking straight.
