IMO I think the lude swap into a civic is a complete waste of time. Unless you do it right that car will have nothing but problems and problems. Make sure you get the Has port mounts. I think those are the only mounts that will keep your car from ripping.

dude he's talking about the old prelude motor. hasport does not make mounts for this application. from my understanding it will not bolt up, it's not an obd complaint swap, and illegal in your car. get a b18b or b18c or a b20b/z

Was researching and there's not enough gain to the swap-one version looses about 6 hp and I'm sure gains weight. Thanks anyway.

Besides, the B21A is notorious for being an oil furnace.

It will not work. Besides it's only a 130HP engine so why bother.

Ah...but it is torque-ey (for a Honda)

That's due to the amazingly poor 1.49 rod/stroke ratio of the engine. I'm amazed Honda even designed, much less produced an engine that poor in the R/S department.

If you can make that engine fit, I'd love to see it.

It's a complete waste of time and money though. So much junk if different, that engine doesn't even use "normal" B-series cams.
