Default Beater Died :(

so i was on my way to work this morning & i'm thinkin my beater blew a head gasket..

as i sat at a red light after getting off the highway & it was running rough & then i started to be sourrounded by smoke & not able to see much!! i shut it off & figured when the light turned green i'd fire it up & pull it over somewhere.. well the light turned green & it refused to start.. i flaged down a cop to block traffic while i pushed it off the road.. kinda sucked.. lots of smoke & now car won't start..

i'm just hoping that the engine isn't seized now.. idk what else would cause it to not want to crank when i turn the key now.. i guess i'll have to take a look at it when i get outa work here...

Does it try to start? Turn at least?

Are you low on coolant now? Coolant in the exhaust pipe?

ehh.. i turn the key to the crank position & it does not turn the starter..

all fluids are fine..

exaust pipe is a lil short but it's dry

.... starter not turning .. like something is holding it back or somethin..

headlights work so it's not a battery issue..

refering to previous statment "I HATE CARS"

That's his other car. h:

Can you manually turn the crank with a 17mm socket and ratchet/breaker bar on the crank pulley?

it's an 86 teg / 5spd

we'll find out of i can turn the crank manually some time tonight after i get outa work.. i'm just trying to figure out why it died.. i'm guessing blown head gasket.. but another weird thing is that after i got it out of the way of traffic.. i pulled the plug on cyl4 & there was oil all over the wire!!! i was just like "well thats a nice one!"

haha i'm glad i didn't spend much money on this car.. but at the same time.. i really need soemthin to drive at least till i get my civic back on the road :/
