I know that Hondata is used to tuned the motor and basically plugs into the ECU. I still dont fully understand how it works?

WHAT EXACTLY is it? besides for a chip that goes to your ecu and helps u tune it?

Hondata allows you to actually change fuel and ignition maps. There are also many other features like 2 steps, full throttle shift. Chips and things like afc's just trick the stock ecu into dumping more fuel and such.

Almost essential for boost nowadays. Just pick up a s200 with boost option.
