just noticed when i got out of work. i looked for a fuse but didnt see anything i also dont have a nice little diagram of what the fuses are. i took my consol and head unit out this afternoon, would anything down there affect my cluster/heater control lights? right now im up for and ideas, a diagram would be helpful.

 

Might want to check the one for the radio. If not, then check the fuses that are under the hood (near the battery).

 

The dimmer switch may be faulty as well.

 

update tail lights are out too brake lights work but tail lights dont

 

Check all of your fuses.
For some reason when a certain one goes out then all the rest start acting up. Youlle find them under your hood and near the kick panel of the drivers side

 

sorry to jack thread but... the left side of my heater\ac control light is out, but right is still on. is it just a bulb? and what would I need to get?

 

heh..... emphasis on dimmer switch..... i did a custom gauge install, and when i put everything back in, i forgot to connect the plug into the dimmer, so its default would be off...... had about 3 brain anurisms before i realized it.....
(side note, are the sliding tabs for the heat and fan level supose to have lights on them? cause looks like its supose to light up maybe green, but mine dont, everything else is ok)

 

sounds like your entire parking light (one click on the headlight switch) is out. since you removed the conole and radio, you may have pinched or shorted a parking light wire (there's one that goes to the radio, one to the ashtray). check the parking light fuse 1st. if the dimmer switch was the culprit only your cluster and hvac lights would be out
