Engines That fit in a 93 Del Sol si.

Hi, i have a 93 honda del sol. Planning on doing a swap.
and a Auto to Manual swap also. I was woundering what Engines fit in this car.

Any B-series or D-series engine should fit. Don't know how hard it is to do the auto to manual part though.

any non B20A (88-91 prelude) b-series, any non-D16A (1st gen teg) d-series, any H or F sieries with a mount kit.

any swap you can do in a civic will be identicle into a sol with the exception of shift linkage... Some people say it's different... I've used civic linkage in a sol with no problem...

So a B16a even tho they say it fits a 88-91 Honda Civic

del sol vtecs came with the b16a2 from 93-97 so the first gen b16 will definitely fit. the tranny linkage is different between the two (cable vs hydro).
